Confirmation Ministry Features
Flexible Beginning Enrollment:
Our confirmation ministry is a two year program, involving students from ages 11-15 (grades 6,7,8,9). Students may begin at age 11,12,13 or 14 depending on their own spiritual and social readiness, and the decision of parents and pastor. They attend for two years and then are confirmed.
Parents and/or family members serve as guides and fellow learners. They participate by attending confirmation instruction on Wednesdays with their child.
Our second year students will receive Communion instruction and begin receiving the Lord's Supper in Holy Week. Confirmation for second year students will take place on Pentecost Sunday - May 23, 2010.
Servant and Fellowship Events
We plan some fun servant events and fellowship events once a month. Confirmation will be a "hands on" experience and not just plain old "lecture" by Pastor Rob.
