 Missions at Our Savior

Missions are an integral part of the Christian life. We are gathered together to worship and sent forth to serve. In Matthew 28:19, God sends us out as His ambassadors so that all people of all nations can hear the great news (Gospel) that God loves them and wants them to spend eternity with him in heaven.

Our congregation does mission work in many ways. There's the financial support for our South Wisconsin District and our national Synodical mission teams that comes straight from our unified budget.  We encourage people to go on short term mission trips in the United States to places like Louisiana  (hurricane Katrina relief) and beyond our borders to places like Mexico, Guatemala, Russia and the Ukraine.  We have been blessed to support field teams in Russia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea as God opens both our hearts and minds to the needs of his world.

If you would like to know more about where and how our Synod is working in the world, log into www.missions.lcms.org.

We would like you to consider being a participant on one of our short term mission trips.

It is every Christian's blessing to share the Gospel and God gives both the passion and resources to follow the heart and go about his work.

The Lord calls us to remember those in the mission field in our prayers, trusting in him to guide, direct and protect them in all their work.
